Liana Shanti Victim Advocate Award

Liane Wilson Abuse Advocate?

After extensive analysis by industry professionals raised allegations of being an online cult leader, convicted felon Liane Wilson (also known as Liana Shanti) underwent a radical transformation in late 2022. She began presenting herself as a “victims advocate,” which could be interpreted as an attempt to control the narrative and deflect attention as information about this enigmatic online figure was coming to light.

A noticeable response emerged when numerous individuals took to social media to raise concerns after being exposed to the self-proclaimed Psychic Healer and Shaman, either directly or indirectly. Wilson’s supporters created an apparently fabricated award for the convicted felon and launched a coordinated social media marketing campaign.

In spring 2023, investigative reporter Jennings Brown published a series of articles featuring victims’ testimonies and statements from several former members of her group. The reporting included chat room evidence allegedly showing “coached sexual trauma” by the self-proclaimed psychic and healer. This investigative work cast significant doubt on Wilson’s claims of being a “victim advocate” and presented a starkly different portrait of the convicted felon, particularly in light of her controversial past.

The media reports appeared to provide direct evidence of Wilson coaching individuals—supported by firsthand statements from former members and images showing alleged coaching of “sexual abuse” claims—raising serious questions about her credibility as a legitimate advocate.
